I have a Black Swamp and its a great bow - best finish I've ever seen on any bow and shoots right along side the best r/d longbows I've ever shot. We are packing for a weeks vacation and I won't have time to take any new pics 'till we get back. None of these show the profile, but it's a fairly aggressive r/d profile. These just are pics I already had on Photobucket. You seem to see WAY DOWN into that finish and I can't find a flaw in it anywhere.

I got my Treadway bow back in 1999. 62"n/n, 56#@26", mild R/D style bow. It is the next to the last of his old style bows he made. I don't imagine that would be of interest though.
Mike is a great guy. I've known him for years.

I'm interested in a Black Swamp, but have a 30 1/2" draw.  Does anyone know how long Mike makes the Black Swamp model, and if it would accommodate my draw length?

I should have nabbed that Black Swamp blade'.  I'm glad its in good hands.  I think had it had darker veneers I would have jumped.  Mike builds a great bow, lots of them at shoots here in the South.

Moots, Mike makes the Black swamp up to 62". I'm pulling 32"arrows almost to the front of the shelf. If you want longer tip to tip you'll have to go with a Forest. I went to his shop right before Thanksgiving and spent @ 3 hours there looking at wood, bows and a lot of talking. FInally deciding on a Black Forest, 64" 40@28. Should be @ 49@31. I'll get some pics up tomorrow of my current Black Swamp.
