As soon as the Bow Hush site added PayPal I orderd 4 sets of Hush Puppys....
A Howard Hill Bow is pretty quite on it's own. Butt add Hush Puppys to it and it's Deathly Quite....
Plus it makes it look "COOL"....

Mike, I think it's a violation of site policy to say that a bow looks cool and not have a picture posted.  If you don't have a camera you can send the bow to me and I will photograph it and send it back.  I promise I will.

I have a Marriah Thermal Recurve that was as quite to shoot as I thought it could be. I put bow hush on the string on a lark and now it is the so quiet that nothing I have shot at with it since has "jumped the String" but then again 3D targets don't do that anyway.

Crash has a great idea there.   All the Hill guys can send me their bows and I can do the photography for the Hill Showcase myself.  I like it!

Crash, just so you aren't too disappointed, here is a pic.  This is the cover for the Howard Hill catalog I made up for the guys this year.

Mike G.  -   well, as a matter of fact  :^)    Yep, that's your Nottingham, which, for some reason, at 60# is a bit easier for me to draw than the 55# Black Bear carbon.   I'm working with Craig now to come up with a lighter draw weight carbon bow.  He said he can't shave the one I have.   I really like it, but with my elbow, I really pay for it when I shoot it a lot.  Did really well with it in 3D, though, where you don't shoot a lot quickly.

I didn't order any hush puppies, but Craig told me Saturday that I should receive two bows today... a Cheetah I sent in for refinising (I'll post before and after pix) and the new Black Wolf... a Big Five made with a carbon lam and 4 lams of lamboo instead of bamboo.  I'll be sitting in the driveway waiting....

I'd not heard of the Black Wolf prior to this.  I'm hoping you'll do a little review for us then Dick!

Yep... it arrived this afternoon... already have pix in the camera and will do some processing tonight.    The Black Bear is the Wesley with a carbon back.   I got one of those, but it came out a bit stiff for me and I wanted another carbon a little lighter, but didn't want to order an essentially identical bow.   I had a discussion with Craig about Lamboo, vs bamboo, the lamboo being faster and we decided to try a combination... all lamboo lams combined with a carbon back.  I chose to do this with a Big Five and decided to call it a Black Wolf, rather than a Black Bear... you can guess what the inlay is  :^&)     pix later tonight
