John Raferty has been a pleasure to work with . There were a few problems with the old bow and he worked with me and we bounced ideas back and forth . And as you can see , the results are awesome .
I would strongly recommend his service to who ever would like a bow refinished .

Thanks Dale, our goal was to bring this bow back to life in honor of your dad and I hope we achieved it. It was also nice working with you and appreciated your input. I Always enjoy seeing what I can find under all the paint and age and bring out its original beauty. Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Finally got to shoot the Old K-Mag today . This is the first shot @ 15 yards . I haven't shot this bow for a few years .

It was like seeing an old friend .
Not sure I will retire it .   :goldtooth:

Looks great.  I've been thinking about picking up an older Bear.  If it needs work I think I'll send it to the Bowhospital.

These pictures don't do it justice . I was floored when I opened the package and held it in my hand .
The refinish is amazing , with all the holes to plug , John just knocked it out of the park over the center field balcony
