Kabekona River vs. Kanati

What are the differences, pluses/minuses between these two bows? Jason Kendall is the bowyer for both. I like the looks of both. I have shot one of his older JK Traditions bows and really liked it. I was just wondering which of these bows would be preferable or if there is a significant difference in the two.

Tom has  kanati 50#@28" in at Bearfoot.  Make it up there and shoot it.  I spent some time shooting it last night.  Nice bow.  The grip is great and it shoots hard.  I am not sure of the diff. in models.  I know Jason made Kabekona for G&M Archery untill 06'.  Now he is on his own and calls it Kanati.  The Kanati and the 06' model Kabekonas look the same to me.

Where is Bearfoot?

It is in DesMoines at 6th and Euclid.  You park and enter behind the building.  Chuck's and a pawn shop are on 6th.  The lot is behind the pawn shop, Bearfoot is behind Chuck's.  A bit hard to find.  He has a red door and a sign.  Open M-F after 6:00pm.  Then go to Chuck' for some food.

That's kind of out of the way for me. I'm just over two hours from Des Moines. I'm only a half hour from Jason's. I bet he's got something there I could shoot if I needed to. I already know how good his bows are. I was just wondering what the difference is between the two. It appears there is not much.

Thanks for the responses though. I'll try to find Bearfoot next time I am down that way. I always like to check out a Trad shop!
