Had c5 thru c7 fused 5 years ago.  Pain was so bad that surgery was not an option. Had to have surgery to function.  I followed Dr.'s orders for lifting, but starting shooting 50# bow after about 4 weeks.   Back up to 59 pounds after 8 weeks.  still shooting 59 pounds.
