Well I had been fighting this for a little while now. It shot great when I had a heigher brace height then I noticed the string had stretched enough to lower the brace height to 7.5".
I raised it to 8-1/8" and still was having problems. So I kept working the height up to 8.5" and nock point to +1/2" and it seems to be shooting better. I noticed a big improvement when I went to that.
However I wonder is that is too much? The range for this bow is 7.5"-8.5" and a suggested nock point of +1/8".
Still seems like it need a little work, or maybe it is me. Hehe.
Are these setting OK for the bow? Is it OK to be at the far end of the brace height? Should I try removing the nock and go down a bit?
I wish I had someone here to give me a hand in person. But I guess there is only one guy in the local club shooting traditional, and no one has heard from him in some time.
Any help would be mucho appreciado.
Thanks,
Dave
