Quick question on old topic
« on: February 02, 2015, 10:27:00 AM »
I'm going to do a beaver tail grip on my bow and want to know if you who have done this glue the leather while it is still wet?  Also, how much material do you leave so you can sew the grip?  I don't want to ruin my beaver tails through too much trial and error.  Thanks!

look on Tenbrook archery's website.  They have a great "How to".

Big Jim, probably does just as many as anyone annually.  He can help out a lot.

Good luck and be sure to show us the results!  :)

I do about 300 or so a year...install that is and it has certainly gotten easier. Just take your time and if it doesn't turn out the first time, remove and start over...if you haven't cut too much.
