Planning ahead...
« on: February 05, 2015, 02:28:00 AM »
I've got to tell you guys... I'm getting my first grandchild in April!  :)  I must say I'm really looking forward to it, and thinking that a little planning ahead wont hurt. So, folks... When can I start thinking about getting that little baby girl (yes, its a girl) her first bow? I have made up my mind about her first gifts from grandpa. She is getting a bow, knife, axe and a fishing pole. She is gonna be a stump-hunter as soon as she can walk.

Congratulations! That first grandchild certainly is something very special. My grandson just turned three. I now have 7 bows designated for him as he grows and develops. When the second baby (a girl) came I realized that I have no girlie equipment, but you know, some of those pink and purple bows I have seen look pretty good.

Start planning and dreaming right now. This will add a whole new realm to your archery world. As soon as she is big enough, start introducing her to the outdoors.

My grand niece got her first long bow the day she was born. I think she's about 12 hours old here...

Now that's just darn cute! Did you make that bow yourself?

Congratulations! You could get one with the she is born, her name, and gave to her. That way she willalways have it to pass down to her kids or grandkids.
