Trad Archery outfitter for Pronghorns
« on: February 06, 2015, 08:03:00 AM »
Can anyone recommend a good pronghorn outfitter that understands traditional archery (shots under 20 yards)?  I prefer to hunt NM or Colorado but would consider Wyoming.  I've never hunted speed goats with a bow so looking for some sound advice.

The Spearhead Ranch out of Douglas, Wy, caters to bowhunters.

If your going to hunt CO you are going to need a landowner tag otherwise wait a long time to draw a tag.

WY is worth looking at.  We hunted archery there 4 years ago DIY and had a good time and took goats.  Heading back this fall now that we have enough points to draw.

DaveT. You planning on spot and stalk or blind/waterhole? I've been to Spearhead twice and had a great hunt from blinds. They don't do spot and stalk. Great people at Spearhead. Will do what they possibly can to get you a good animal.
