What is your preferred woods in the MOAB? What has been your experience with smoothness of draw with those woods? Looking hard at ordering one. found one new for sale on a sponsor site.
Thanks!

I have 5.....boo cores on all of them...have different veneers....veneers don't really matter as they are so thin.  So, you can you any veneer you like and it wont effect the works of the core you choose.

MOAB is my favorite 1 pc. longbow.

As close to perfection as possible in my eyes.

Terry is right, boo is great and veneers just pretty it up.

Would that be the amberboo? This is the wood in the bow I saw as well as zebra wood riser.

I have a thunderstruck mag. 56" 48# at 28". I draw 28.5" I purchased it 11 days ago. I had it tuned the same day. I placed 2nd in a shoot on Friday. I find it amazingly smooth and incredibly quick. 196 FPS with an arrow at 360 grains.

I know it's not a MOAB but it is a MOAB mag. I would recommend this bow over a lot that I have shot. It's very smooth, no hand shock, and I can only imagine a longer one would be just as great.

I bought mine used from "longbowben" so not sure of the veneers. The core is bamboo; Quick pointing and about as smooth has you can get!

Not sure what my MOAB is, but it is a great shooting bow. Can not go wrong with one.
