Not much to tell really. He was following a doe and I couldn't move or one of them would have seen me so I was still sitting when I shot. I let the doe walk and waited until he was 10 yards from me. I knew it would be touch and go. He saw me when I drew and wheeled and leaped just as I released, so I hit him too far back in the gut. Lucky for me though, he turned so that the arrow penetrated a lung and actually nicked the heart. He ran about 250 yards through the thickest stuff you ever saw and (this is the best part)he died right in the middle of a dirt road. I didn't even have to drag him!
I just drove up and loaded him. Thanks again Don, for sharpening those broadheads for me!
