A game warden wanted me to go to all bludgeon heads, claiming that they did tests and found that there was less wound loss. Some swear by it, but for my 26" low 50 pound bows, I will always opt for cutting power and penetration over brute force. I shot two hard to catch chickens with htms, knocked the daylights out of one and barely affected the second with a direct hit. A steel blunt did put the chicken down with authority. The Bullhead does work, but that second one would be hard to get out of my back quiver and it is embarrassing how often that second arrow is the one that hits when the first one missed.
