Fish skins and self nocks.
« on: March 08, 2015, 01:24:00 AM »
Made up some arrows for my osage bow and put some striper skins on it and a little color. The more I shoot this bow the more I like it.

That's a nice setup.  Have you taken any coyotes with this bow yet?

I like the use of fish skins.  What did you use to adhere them to the wood?

So it is a stripper skin. I was wondering when I saw the coyote quiver you posted.

Hope not to hijack, but could you elaborate on the alternating 4"/2" four fletch configuration?  Flight, shelf clearance, other?

Thanks for the words.Treat the skins just like carp skins. Used Titebond 3 to glue them on and clear coat over them. As for the fletching ,was goofing around . thought they looked cool and they fly great. Something different that works good. No blood on this bow yet.
