Center Cut and Cut to Center

I remember reading on here about center cut risers and being cut to center were not the same thing, and I was just curious as what the difference was? I may have misread or misunderstood the statement that I read. I was just trying to get some understanding on all the different types of risers and configurations out there.

I believe you may have misread that. a "Center shot" riser is one cut past center. cutting "To center" is just that. a "center cut" riser would be interpreted the same as "to center" IMO
