'Ugly Butt' foam targets. Contact info needed...
« on: March 11, 2015, 11:43:00 PM »
At Cloverdale in 2013 (I believe at the IBO World shoot), a gentleman from Iowa (I think) was selling 'Ugly Butt' foam targets.

I haven't seen him since and want to ask if anybody knows the gentleman and his contact information.

I would like to buy more of his targets.

Thanks for any help, Skychief.

I just bought a "blob" target from blobtargets.com.  he is from georgia. Not sure if that it or not? Made from recycled  carpet foam. Will last forever  but a bear to get arrows out of

Thanks warden', but, no.  I'm pretty sure that this guy was from Iowa.

These were cube shaped targets that looked to be made from expanding foam.  Kind of yellowish in color, very light for their size and very easy to pull arrows from.

I bought one with a little trepidation, thinking it wouldn't be very durable, but, it lasted a lot longer than I feared it might.

Thanks just the same for your reply, Skychief

If it looks like this it's a BLOB target great but very heavy
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

There are a lot of ugly butts in Iowa, so I was expecting it to look more like an ugly butt.  Which reminds me, my soybean seed crate bag target is getting that ugly butt thing going, time to break out a new one.

X2 on hard to get arrows out of.  Good way to test the glue on inserts.

Finally! Took me awhile to find that. He was in Iowa but now has moved to Ohio. Travels back here at times too. He will be in Cloverdale this year also. His name is Jerry and its 319-230-0844 otherwise the 319-342-4550 Dave is a dealer form them too. They have several names. This one is the cheap butt. I think they have big butt and maybe a couple more sizes.

So there is a cheap aa I mean butt, an ugly abut, is there a fancy butt?  They look like they work. I know a guy who has a foam sprayer, this gives me an idea what to try with my seed crates bags.  Is it the same kind of foam they use to insulate buildings?

Hey no problem. Yep it is kinda like that same foam.  I can't remember all the names of them but they sure do make you laugh when you you them.
