Anyone running heavy points on aluminum arrows? I've got a pile of 2117s that I bought for cheap that shoot great with 175 and 200 grain points out of my Toelke recurves.

I Have put heavy points on my 2117 and 2219 shafts and have been using them from my ILF bow. Also use 175 grain tips on my 2020 arrows for my ASLB, 64@28.

Only problem with efoc on aluminum or wood is that the shafts typically carry a fair amount of weight on their own that putting a lot up front makes them super heavy.

I wouldn't call 175-200 up front "Efoc" when the standard is 125g. It certainly will help though.

My brain seems to be set for about 165-170 fps. Which is about what these 600ish grain arrows are doing off my high 40s chinook.  I guess I'll run aluminum as long as I've got them. I'm heavily invested in 200 grain broadheads and 2117 arrows, guess I should just consider myself lucky that all the inventory is playing nice together.

51# Hill longbow, 175gr points on 2114's.  These arrows give me 10grs per pound of draw weight.
