nockturnal nocks

I shoot AD Trads with Easton uni-bushings for the Easton G nocks. I bought two packs of the Nockturnal G nocks which are supposed to fit the uni-bushings, they do not, too big, any ideas??? Do I need to file the uni-bushing?

My suggestion, FMJs or Easton Hexx.

Try some Teflon tape if they are too loose.

I wouldn't try to modify them. Contact the company and see what they say. Could be a packaging mistake or manufacturing mistake.

I have used the plumbers tape on loose H nocks on my Hexx in the past.  Works great.  But tight ones like Danny is dealing with, hmmmm.

Got nada for you Danny, but like said above, call the company and see...something sound amiss!

One ole boy I know put a Lumi-nock into a cane shaft he built!

Danny, it worked fine to sand down the shank of the Nockturnal until it fit into the uni bushing.  Took some time and test fitting, but got them to work fine with my G-nock bushings.

The problem I had was with the string end of the Nockturnals.  The plastic they are made of seems to soft or pliable to me.  Just from getting in/out of a vehicle and holding the bow on my lap while hunting, the "ears" of the one I had in my bow quiver bent enough to put the end of the arrow out of alignment with my string.

Hand straightening SEEMED to fix the problem, but since I was on an out of state hunt, I did not want to risk it, and put it aside and replaced it with an arrow outfitted with a G-nock...

They were interesting to experiment with, though.

I have the same set-up and I had to file them down to get them to fit.  I kept checking until I could get them in by twisting hard to make sure I didn't file off too much and make them loose.  I think the problem is with the bushing for the AD shaft as I broke a G nock trying to get it into the bushing.
