Danny, it worked fine to sand down the shank of the Nockturnal until it fit into the uni bushing. Took some time and test fitting, but got them to work fine with my G-nock bushings.
The problem I had was with the string end of the Nockturnals. The plastic they are made of seems to soft or pliable to me. Just from getting in/out of a vehicle and holding the bow on my lap while hunting, the "ears" of the one I had in my bow quiver bent enough to put the end of the arrow out of alignment with my string.
Hand straightening SEEMED to fix the problem, but since I was on an out of state hunt, I did not want to risk it, and put it aside and replaced it with an arrow outfitted with a G-nock...
They were interesting to experiment with, though.
