I'd be interested to see if there's any difference between a needlepoint sharp head and a chisel point ala Fred Bear/Ted Nugent.

Looking forward to seeing the results!

This is going to be interesting.......because as far as I know,  (and maybe you have a different type of ballistic gelatin that makes me wrong),  every broadhead you test is going to fly straight to the back of that gelatin and blow out the other side like a hot knife through butter....as its not made for testing something like a broadhead.  The same way a threat level 3A ballistic vest will stop a .44 mag +P .....but a sharp broadhead will zip right through it like its not even there.  Ballistic gel absorbs energy and that's why it stops bullets.....just like Kevlar.    Shooting a razor blade at it is not the same. Its going to have the most effect on the shaft as it slides through the gelatin....thus not really proving anything as far as the actual broadhead goes.

The ballistic gel is more for examining wound channels and to see broadheads cutting through it in super slo mo.

I did my testing with the compound this week and it's online right now. The arrows didn't fully penetrate the ballistic gel...

The ballistic gel used is made by a company called clear ballistics. It is really cool stuff and deifferent from the Knox gelatin ballistic gel.

I'm not sure how scientific my testing is but it sure is fun.

This is what I'd like to see. I purchased some a while back and would really like to see how well they perform.

Scott E. Can you post a link to your channel or to your video?

I would love to see a grizzly style 2 blade (the gold standard in penetration) vs Centaur single bevel big game head vs a Snuffer (Gold standard in large wound channel 3 blade).

This could be excellent when considering the wider cut on conctact 2 blade heads, especially for larger game like elk/moose. It would be a good visual comparison of where they fit in.

Aside from all that, I would also love to see the large 3 blade grizzlys! Because they are about snuffer size, but have a taper ratio comparable to the legendary woodsmans!

How about left bevel/left wing arrows vs left bevel/right wing arrows to see if it makes any real life difference to have bevel/feather match....... my observation is NO BTW...........
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!
