What has everyone put in for tag wise
« on: May 22, 2015, 10:26:00 AM »
Hey everybody,

Its getting to be that time of year when tag results for some states, especially out west are starting to get posted. Looks like I have drawn my deer tag for colorado so I get to have that in my pocket while elk hunting. What did you all put in for and what did you get! Good luck hunting its only 3.5 months away!

I'm back in the draw for a Nova Scotia moose hunt.
Had a 5 year layoff after drawing in 2009. Be more than a bit flukey to get one, but will know by mid June.

Swing and a miss for me on Utah Book Cliffs deer this year.  Really thought we were a shoe in for that one.  But it looks like we did draw a unit 40 CO elk tag.  Supposed to be one of the premier units in the state, so to say I am pumped up would be a big understatement!

Among about 40,000 who put in for KY Elk Permit. I drew a Cow Archery. I've been trying to draw since 2007.

Put in for elk and deer, should find out in a week or so if we were successful.  I usually pick up an OTC tag for black bear just in case.

Amberjack, are you waiting on CO draw results?  There is a "backdoor " way to see if you drew now.
Go to the CO website and go through the prints to purchase a license online. Click on purchase a habitat stamp and your application info will appear at the bottom of the page. If you see a 500 series code for elk that means you drew.

Put in for a Missouri Breaks elk tag, which I drew, and a tough mule deer tag which I didn't draw. I'm still waiting on the drawing for an archery antelope tag, which I expect to draw, and moose, which I don't expect to draw.

I apply for every license you can in CO except Desert Bighorn.  Just knew I was going to draw one of the big 3 this year.  I just got laid off and that would have been the silver lining.  Oh well I drew a bear tag.
