Dryad LBX limbs arrived
« on: May 23, 2015, 11:20:00 PM »
Happened to walk into RMSG on the right day to buy feathers and found out my limbs had just arrived! Got them mounted on my riser which I had with me because I had been out to the range to shoot. Figured out quickly I needed a little more tip weight for my arrows to tune, a twenty gr weight on the back of the insert and I had good flying arrows again! I then went home and ran a couple of arrows through the Chrono to kind of figure out where I stood. The limbs are 42#@28", I draw 31"ish so they should be right at 51#@31" My arrows weigh 600gr which put them at 11.75gpp and they are zipping through the Chrono at 170fps. I shot another arrow that is right at 10gpp and hit 180fps. I know, most of you guys don't care how fast they are but I'm just trying to illustrate bow efficiency. I then ventured out to the 3d course and proceeded to shoot very well, I was poised to shoot my best score ever until I melted down and choked on the very last target. Shot a 5 then a 0 on it. Took a walk back to the target before then went back and shot a 12 and a 10 on the target I choked on, lol! That's why I'm not quitting the day job yet to go on the trick shooting circuit. I'm really liking them so far, can't wait to get them up in the mountains and in action against the elk!

David, is that an Apex riser? I have 2 pair of the Dryad LB limbs, both on RCX 17 riser. Mighty fine limbs.
Thank you

Sam
