Curt's limb attachments are a bit different and pretty cool. As you can see the limbs are flush with the riser, but then the bolt is hidden in the riser itself and accessed from the back of the riser itself. You actually see none of the hardware which gives a pretty slick look. I'll get some pics up later to show it better.

Some closer pics of the limb bolt connection, or at least what you can see of it from the back of the riser. Also extra pic of front of riser and limb/riser overlay. Really unique integrated limb bolt system.

Curt has some great material and that is an absolutely awesome looking bow. Great design and I bet she's an awesome shooter too. Myrtle has got to be one of my favorite woods. So many different grain variations and great character.
Congrats to both of you on a one of a kind custom bow.

Curt is second to none when is time to choose woods and his bows look as good. I would like to try one of his recurves.

I have found that the only problem with shooting one of his longbows is now wanting to try one of his recurves as well. But I always find that getting one bow just gives me more of the "wants" for some unexplained reason    :dunno:

Like the way the limbs "flow" into the riser. Just can't get used to TD longbows with the limbs sitting on top of the riser, if you know what I mean. I have two Hummingbird TD longbows with similar limb attachment as Curt's. That type of limb attachment looks okay on a TD recurve though. Just my opinion.

If you want to see what his recurve looks like with this kind of limb attachment, go to his existing website. Has a beauty there. Looks almost like a one-piece. If only I hadn't looked. Really want one now. I have a feeling you'll like it too. Contacted him and he's consolidating his two sites into one but it's taking longer than expected.
