Well, it has been a while since I have posted here, but I thought I would share a few pics of the latest bow in my stable. As many of you know, I like a plain hunting bow, nothing fancy, just a plain hard working hunting bow. The bow is brown back, white belly, tempered boo cores, a real nice figured myrtle riser - that is it. The bow is 68 inches long and 55 pounds at 29 inches of draw.
Boy Howdy does she draw smooth and the performance is surprising, it is so smooth, quiet and all with excellent cast. It is hard to say what I like more, my Misty Dawn or my new Morning Star. As James and I have discussed, they both have their merits. In any event, this bow is just fun to shoot and will be a treasured hunter to be sure. I hope you like the pics, she shoots a lot better than she looks, but to me a simple plain hunting bow is pure beauty.
James scores a bulls-eye with me again on this one!
