jack kempf bows
« on: June 25, 2015, 06:25:00 PM »
Let's see some pictures. Was at his shop today looking at different woods for a little grizzly flat bow I'm having him build me. Decided to go with cocobola with a flare he said he would decide on. What a solid guy he is. I wish I had him as a grandpa lol. So please post up some pics of bows he's made you guys

Thanks

You should have been at the Kempf Classic at the beginning of the month...just about everyone there was shooting at least one of Jack's bows...Jack was shooting a Kwyk Styk with carbon lam...did you go for carbon on the Lil Grizzly...if you can catch up with Terry Brew from Red Deer sometime he has a bunch of Jack's bows...I wish Jack was my grandpa too cause that would make me a whole lot younger...he is, at 20 years older, old enough to be my dad

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Yup went with the carbon. Probably the only time in my life I'll be buying a custom bow so I figured I'd go all out

Just noticed the Kanati on order...how did you manage to talk Jason into sending a bow to Canada...he always used to advertise U.S. sales only

Thanks for doing that...I am thinking about picking up a 2 piece Shrew style bow and the Kanati is a nice bow at a reasonable price

Oops...I guess I need to add Jason to the list of bowyers who do not offer a 2 piece takedown...guess I should have kept the Wolfer
