Continued tuning troubles

In my efforts to build some heavy efoc carbons I am still haveing bare shaft issues.  I've got some .340 spine arrows as well as .300s  I can get them both to hit where I am looking no problem but they are still nock left in the target.  What is this an indication of? Still to weak?

Are you right handed?What is your bow poundage,shaft length and up front weight?Draw length?

If you are right handed,it could be weak or it could also be a false weak reaction,depending.

It's an indication that you're shooting with fingers.  Really.  If the shafts are hitting where you're aiming, they're tuned. Most folks accept a little nock left (for a right handed shooter).  Feathers will straighten them out.

Bingo!

Take em out and shoot em at 20-25 yards and watch the arrow flight. That is more important than how they are sticking out of your target butt.

I would put some feathers and BH on and see how they shoot.

always remember when the arrow hits the target it will immediately flex. the harder the target the more the flex.

Shoot it through paper or with fletched shafts. Nick left in the target means nothing to me.

I'm probably the odd man out, but bare shaft tuning is way overrated. Unless you have a perfect release, every shot, bare shaft= frustration. I put a lot into tuning a fletched arrow with a BH on it, but gave up bare shaft a long time ago. And I tune my set ups just fine.

I have been going through my own tuning issues with my longbows. X3 on the 20-25 yards and watch the arrow flight. I think I have finally nailed down my arrow/point weight.  It just takes time and patience, I just concentrated on getting good arrow flight and trying to make a good release and not move my bow arm.
