broadhead for 50lb recurve

First year hunting with traditional equipment and wanted opinions on broadhead selection.  I'm leaning towards the Magnus Stinger Killer Bee 2-blade, 125 grain.

That'll work.  Pretty much anything will work with a #50 bow

Yep most traditional style broadheads will do just fine, just hit them where your supposed to. That's what really matters.

The killer bees are junky compared to the Stingers. They are thinner and cheap feeling. I've broken several.  I would go with the stingers in 4 blade but 2 will work fine. 4 makes more blood.

I agree, the killer bees aren't as good as the stingers, and I actually prefer the buzzcut over the Stinger

My set-up this year for my 47lb bow is 1075 aluminum with standard alluminum inserts, 5"Parabolic fletching,easton super knock and Zwickey Eskilite which will give you a 500 grain arrow cut to 30.5". That would work out to 10 grains per pound and you should get good penetration and your bow will like it too.

I would go with Zwickeys if you are in the 125gr range.  The Zwickey eskimo glue ons are 125 and the esklite with the screw in adapter are 135gr.  I have hit a lot of dirt,  trees and a few rocks while practicing and  going after jackrabbit with both arrowheads.  Both are tough.  I would file off the tips into a chisel point before using.

I use Magnus 3 blade 125's, but I sharpen my own and tune my arrow wts. to match my setup. I've zipped a couple through coyotes and turkey but no deer yet.

Zwickey's or Ribtecs for me. Just be sure they are sharp.

What are you hunting, whitetails?  if that's the case try Snuffers or Hills or Bears or Magnus or Thunderheads or......
There are dozens and dozens of heads that will work. Shoot them in the right spot and keep them SHARP.  Most of the gimmicks and designs are for selling points to the archer. A field point through the heart will kill the biggest animal on earth.  A 50# bow with well tuned arrow and just about any sharp broadhead will get the job done on whitetails

I use 125 gr., original Wensel Woodsmans, for everything from squirrels to black bears with a 50# bow.

As mentioned above, whatever you decide on, make sure they're sharp, and put them in the right place.

The light Zwicky Eskimo is close to that on a screw in.  It can be hunting sharp with a file, and if an immediate easier to follow blood trail is required go with the four blade.

190 grain treesharks flying out of my rig although you'll not go wrong with the Magnus I just personally like a big hole
