BPE Clamp
« on: August 13, 2015, 05:27:00 PM »
I was looking at True Flight feathers website the other day,and got to looking at the different things they had for left wing and right wing. The pictures did not look the same as what I had. I pulled out an old clamp of mine that was a right wing, and the new one I have is supposed to be left wing, but they look the same. I didn't post any pictures of the old one,but looking at the pictures of this one can you tell if it is a left wing clamp. I also posted a picture of an arrow I just did. It has left wing feathers,so does that look right?

I finally found a website for BPE. It seems like they never had one before. The code matches up for a right wing. So this whole time i've been using left wing feathers with a right wing clamp. How bad does that screw things up? They seem to fly real straight, but I notice I don't hardly get any rotation. I know I ordered a left wing, but must have got sent the wrong one. I might just order one direct from them now that they have a website, and I can actually see the code on the clamp on their site.

Stonewall the feather is left wing, but I think you are correct that it is right wing clamp with what I have recently found out.

It's very frustrating

Yeah that's rw.  Doesn't  screw thing up terribly if the feathers are stuck well.  Just change over from here on out. They will clamp easier and stick better.

Thanks for the replies.

Thanks Matt that is what I was wanting to know also. I didn't want to take and redo all the ones I had already done. I'll just order a left wing this time and make sure it's what I need.
