How much is too much for you?

Really cant think of any animal that would require more BH than a VPA 3 blade or Tuffhead has to offer.

It's all about availability... as long as I can find what I like for less than that, then I won't spend that on a head.

I couldn't find the features I wanted in a cheaper watch, so I paid a little more for one.  

As long as stingers are available at their current price point, I won't be spending more than that!

Some folk thrive on bragging rights, the more money spent the better they think the product will be. $40 broadheads or a $1500 recurve bow both fall into the same category.

That's a poorly designed head, also...being too abrupt in the way it widens to be of much use on anything but a perfect shot.

I have bought up every old stock grizzly I can...and now have a two lifetime supply of them...for about 2 dollars a head I figure. I get them so sharp I'm afraid to handle them...and they never fail...never.  Hard to argue with that.

Zuwikies(mis-spell) are cheaper and better in my book, killed a lot of deer with them old school heads..

I wouldn't choose those, but for reasons other than the price.

If I could get my favorite bow for $200 vs. $1,500-2,000 I would grab it. Has nothing to do with "bragging rights".  I would never accuse those who buy this expensive head of doing so for any other reason than they like the head and their passion is worth it too them. Oh, and they can afford it.

I too was taken aback by the bent ferrule comment in the description. They should focus on the toughness of the blade not the difference in same of the ferrule and the blade. I suppose a lot of broached ferrules would bend before the blade would but...
