To use the Thunderhorn 2 pt. quiver do you have to have longer limb bolts?

I doubt it, attachment is pretty slim and most bolts have plenty of threads for the job.

well doesnt matter now found out it has the plastic hood instead of leather, cant stand the synthetic hoods they make too much noise.

I believe you are mistaken on having a plastic hood.... these are nice leather hood on these...
check it out...

Heres one mounted on a Sasquatch SS/ILF riser with bellymout bolts instead of std limb bolt mount.

Kirk,
the guy I was thinking of buying it from says it has a synthetic hood, Im just taking his word for it...Ive got 4 Thunderhorn Boas and love them..it may of had a different hood added to thunderhorn bracket and he doesnt realize it, either way I cant stand plastic on a quiver hood..

The 2 point is made in plastic, cheapo version of the leather ones. Sells new for about 50% of a leather one.

I have a Thunderhorn "Sidewinder" on my Bear TD. Its a great quiver. No movement; holds the arrows tight; no noise. Little heavier than the EFA quivers I have on my long bows, but works great on my Bear TD.
