Would anyone have any info on a Ben Pearson Lord Majestic Hunter. I am looking at a mint condition bow with case never been shot. Any info and value would be appreciated. The owner is a older man that I would not want to short change if I purchace this bow.

You sound like an honest man, put some money down until you can establish value, hate to see someone else grabbing it who might take advantage.

I'm not familiar with that name.

Could the bow be a Lord Soverign or Lord Mercury?

Probably the best bow Pearson ever made, along with the Mercury Hunter. Actually had capsules of mercury in the riser to dampen vibration. Top of the line 45 years ago.

I have never shot a Pearson Mercury series that was not a super bow. I've not shot that particular bow but, I have several Mercury Marauders and Hunters and they are the best.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Bud B. is right.   Pearson bows are fine performers, but prices are not up there to go along with their quality.  I like 'em.

Great bow, they were the top of Peasron's line I. The 60's. They still have a good showing at auction, not as high as most of the target Bear bows but pretty close. I think Bud is pretty close, maybe a little higher if the condition is excellent. How long is it?
