This may end up long so I apologize. I've often remarked about the generosity of Trad Gangers and trad shooters in general. A while back I got an offer to pick up a great leather back quiver at a price I can only assume came at "break even" or at very least, little profit from Soap Creek. I love this quiver, if I'd been there and had him design it just for me it couldn't have come out more perfect. The other day Greg wrote and asked for my address saying he had something he wanted me to "field test". Well it arrived today and I was floored. Inside I found a small youth quiver. I'll keep the letter between him and I except to say that he knew I had 2 young boys who love to shoot and so wanted them to have a quiver like dad's. I showed it to him and explained how it came to be and he is blown away! We adjusted it, loaded it up and got right to shooting! He is quickly learning the love and pride of a good leather back quiver. About the time he outgrows it in a few years my 3 year old will inherit it. My boys love trad as much as I do and now even look the part! I couldn't begin to describe how humble it is to receive such things from the folks like Soap. Im always inspired by you folks. I've passed on some recurves to guys just starting out, heads to folks in need, etc. There's something special about Tradgangers I tell you...
Thanks again Greg! You've made my (and even more so my sons) entire month!!
The excellent craftsmanship!!
And an action shot! (Bonus cameo of the gifted bow from tradganger Jon Stewart!)
