What a great season, for many reasons.  I got to hunt 20 days this past month (18 solo). I was into bulls almost everyday and they were bugling from day one until the end.  I saw more and bigger bulls in my area than I have seen in years.  Many many close encounters.  I had elk at 3 yds and bugling bulls at less than 20 yds. Never got a shot.  So many things have to go right to get that shot, especially chasing them on the ground. But oh what fun it is. Here are few pics.

 Glad you were able to have lots of action the season!

It's amazing how close you can get yet so hard it still is to close the deal.
