That is all I have ever hunted out of. Brush blinds and fallen trees.  I like to build it and then stay away for a week.  Deer will notice a brush blind sometimes and if there is human scent around they will stay away for a little.  Hard to avoid making a commotion and disturbing the area but if you give it a little time the deer will get used to it quick.

well after a lot of sweat today I have the makings of a mighty nice blind.
A little more work and it will be done.
Some pine needles for the floor and a little more leafy foilage.
Possiby a camo umbrella mounted to the tree behind me to keep the rain off and add more shadow.
I chummed the area with mock scrape
wish me luck

even if I dont get a shot, sitting in this blind will offer hours of relaxation time.
I named it the ditch blind.
made in a small revine my head will be on plane with the deer.
