Bow quiver fletch cover spreader?
« on: September 23, 2015, 10:00:00 PM »
Does anybody make "a spreader" that you can put into your fletch cover on your bow quiver to keep it open so it doesn't mash your feathers and/or have you made something that does the same?  Any info or ideas would be appreciated.  I'm thinking about using a big cable tie.  Hopefully it will have enough "strength" to stay in a circle shape. Thanks

A cable tie is my preferred method. They are light, cheap, and hold form well.  Easy to apply in many ways.

Heavy monofilament. It can be sewed right into the hem...
Thanks,

I never worried about it and never had the problem.

I used a heavy duty zip tie to hold the top of my leather back quiver open. I'm sure it would work well for a fletch cover. Put it together get it to the size you want. Trim of the excess. Then wrap a small piece of duct tape in front of the eyelet  so it cannot be fed through anymore.
Good luck

I just put week wacker line in my 3 Rivers Fletching Cover as suggested by Arrow30. It's perfect, 100x better!
