ASAT, Predator Gray, or WindowCAMO
« on: September 25, 2015, 05:27:00 PM »
Hey guys, going to order some Dayone pants soon. I live in the beautiful green and wet western washington and I'm kinda stuck on which to get. This would be after the fall season starts. Drizzle, dark days.

I like different aspects of all of them...

ASAT- seems to break up the outline best but no green. Although I've heard that the tan reflects the green and looks green.

Predator Gray- No green, but everything seems to have a gray tone in winter here. And lots of fog and misty days. So it might work out really well.

Window- Wasn't even considering it until I saw some pics of it in green land. Looks pretty good. Similar in tone to my berber stuff but with a little open pattern. But not nearly as good as breaking up your pattern it doesn't look like.

What do you guys think? I cant decide!

I have the Day One wool ASAT pullover and just got a pair of wool pants in the spring. It's one of the best camo patterns I've ever used in my 35 years of hunting. It's great for Southern and Northern Zone NY. In my area our season runs from Oct 1 to Dec 31. Its a little warm for the early season. But it does a great job through a wide range of seasonal changes.

Fall Gray is better in a tree stand that's what that color was designed for ( words from the developer himself )the white ends up being pretty bright when hunting on the ground. I would go with fall brown or spring green.... deer see in black and white anyway so the spring Green won't really be green in the fall to dear anyway.
