Bear Razorheads

I assume that Bear Razorheads have not been made for a long time. Is there a screw in traditional broadhead similar to a Bear Razorhead currently made? Ideally I am looking for a broadhead in the 145 to 150 gr weight class. Thanks for your help!

There's a bunch....go to 3riversarchery.com and check out the broadhead selection. Quite a few like Magnus and Zwickey have been around for a very long time. There should be a good selection in that weight range.

A bit pricey, but the Eclipse screw ins are a similar shaped head. Muzzy phantoms and Magnus Stingers are supposed to be good as well. Not sure about the phantoms, but I know the stingers come in a 150 gr. Zwickeys are good, but they are a glue on with glue in adapters, and there's always the off chance you could get one that's not glued perfectly straight, so you'll want to spin check them after you mount them.

This post got me looking around at broadheads online. Came across these over at Big Jims site. May be just what the doctor ordered. I may have to give these a try sometime myself.

Check out Red River Broadheads we make a broad head that is a remake of the Bear Razor head with some enhancements. Our current head is only 100 grains. We call our the R1. We will have a 125 grain and a 145 grain available this spring 2016.
And we are a sponsor on this site.

Ace, Magnus, and Zwicky provide similar heads today. I prefer the Ace but that is is just my choice. Of course I still have several dozen of the original Bear Razorheads so I'm set for years to come. Good luck and shoot straight.
