It's the fact that there has not been an open deer season for 9 months!!!!

I'm even more excited about opening day than have ever been. Lot has to do with my going trad recently after giving up the wheels. I also think a lot has to do with the fact that at our advanced age, (I'm 71)we won't be having that many more opening days to look forward to. I will be making the most of the ones I still have. Yeah. Good luck to all.

Around here, "Season Opener" means go to work and let the Idiot Army trample the woods flat for a few days, then you can take some vacation time and go hunting on my own terms.
