How many use this system? I have the sharpener and the heads, is it up to par for sharpening this heads? How do you sharpen them with this? I mean like just a few gentle swipes or more force? thanks!

I use one quite a bit. I don't think you want to apply much force. I give them a few light strokes. And then finish with a crock.

I use this. A few light swipes are ok if the edge is pretty darn close but you can bear down on it pretty hard if its not. Just try going progressively harder and at some point you will see that it is hard enough to really put the edge on.

I've found that type of sharpener to cause tiny chips in the edges. Maybe just me or the sharpener (not an accusharp but the same principle) but thats what I observed. I see the same thing on my kitchen knives. It seems that more pressure is more likely to cause the chips, but once again it's not the same sharpener.
The Lansky has been very effective for me but takes a little longer. Once a good edge is achieved it does not take much to renew a good edge.

If they are real dull, I use a 6 inch single cut file first. Then use light pressure with the Accu Sharp. Use more strokes, not more pressure. If they are new, just light stokes work fine. Gatco (sp?) makes a carbide sharpener with the angle set at 25 degrees instead of the 21 or so on the AccuSharp. This works even better, IMHO.

I use a small hand held carbide sharpener made by Redi-Edge. Paul Brunner told me about them 20 years ago. The bevel on the Magnus heads (I currently shoot Stingers) and Redi-Edge match up perfect. It also works extremely well on Browning knives.
I buy them on Amazon and they last for years. I have and have tried several other brand of carbide sharpeners. They have worked ok but not nearly as well as the Redi Edge. I guess it's a game of angles.

Maybe I need a new accusharp. I could not get my Eskimos shavin sharp and I could not get my stinger buzzcuts hair poppin sharp either. No matter how many light stokes I did.
I did a better job with a file a jewel stick then a leather strop.

I find the accusharp does work on my Magnus heads. Takes some patience, and a feel for the tool. A little more pressure at first to establish the angle, than as many light strokes as needed. You can feel how much the accusharp is grabbing.
Works on my Zwickey's also, but takes a little more time and effort.
I like to use a file first if they're really dull. Works well on my Ace heads, also.
