Heartland Belly - Mount longbow
« on: October 03, 2015, 12:40:00 PM »
I just received another beautiful longbow from Cory Engert of Heartland Custom Longbows.

This is a 66" belly-mount longbow; 53# @ 30"; Riser - Purple Heart / Leopard wood; Bamboo core; Caramel glass back of limbs and curly Purple Heart on the belly.

This is one of the most stable and forgiving bows I have shot with good speed.  I like longer bows, and this 66" bow is the ticket!

Thanks,
Rob

Nice, clean looking the way the limbs connect to riser. Great looking grip.

Cory Engert builds a nice bow.  I have had three of his one-piece longbows.  They are also worth a look.

I shot Cory's bows and meet him at Compton this year.  I was impressed to say the least.  Bows seemed fast and I am big fan of the belly mount limbs.

I may be getting a Heartland some day!     :archer2:
