Just finished tuning my first six wooden arrows from the footed shaft. They work awesome now that they are straightened and cut to perfect length.

You're in trouble now! Wood arrows are addictive.

Yeah they fly so good and quiet all you hear of the authority of it thumping the target.

All I can say is thanks to the footed shaft. Quick inexpensive shipping, with an ultra fast turn around time.

I visit the store every now and then, and Terry is always working on wood arrows for someone. I may try them someday.

All I did Sirius is buy a cheap jig, feathers, taper tool, nocks, points, used a miter saw on the pre finished shafts and tada!

Very addictive, when I started doing wood arrows no sooner would I get done crowning and cresting a doz. then I would be thinking about what colors on the next doz. :-)
It's a lot of fun but don't let it get the best of you.

Haven't shot anything but wood arrows. Hope to one day start making my own. What type of fletching jig did you use?
