I Need a pep talk!

Just below center and behind the heart and the scapula is as good a double lung hit from the ground that you can get.  In over 40 deer, I have never had one make it over 120 yards with that hit.

If possible slow way down for the shot and really stare a hole where you want that arrow to go. It will all come together if you want it bad enough it just takes time. I draw on as many animals as I can while hunting and lock on them with a good solid anchor but don't shoot them. I think it has helped me over the years with building confidence....

Find some jackrabbits and tree rats and start shootin'!!!  Get some of them and get this out of your system.  You can do it.  You've done it before.

Thx for the encouragement and advice everyone. I know exactly what I did wrong just needed to get it off my chest and move on.  I had a bad day and let it get to me. I was down but not out! I'll learn from it and be all the better for it!
