Two new Cari-Bows on order
« on: November 04, 2015, 08:28:00 PM »
Just sent in deposit for matching Silver Fox and Tiaga Recurve.  Risers will be Black & White Ebony sandwiched between Macassar Ebony.  Limbs are crotch walnut veneers, and antler treatment on limbs and riser.  Both will be 55# @ 27" and 60" long.  Now the wait begins but I know these two are going to be so worth it.

They sound cool.......but boy, do I hate to wait.

I have a tuktu and really like it. Abe's grips are the best imo. When do you expect to get them?

You are going to love them.  The last one I ordered took 14 months I think.  Well worth the wait.

Your one piece Silvertip was the one that inspired me to combine M Ebony and B&W Ebony.  That is one sweet looking bow.  You and Danny got to quit posting all those pics - not good for my addiction    :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

Yeah I hate the wait. He had a 62" Peregrine in his featured inventory, and it was one of the prettiest bows i've ever seen. I was just a little too late. It's still pictured there, and I go and look at it every once in a while. Sounds like you've got a couple of lookers on the way, congrats!

Those bows are going to be beautiful!  I've been thinking about a second Cari-bow for some time now...a 50lb Perigrine I think.

Seriously jealous! I have only shot a recurve of that make, it didn't even have string silencers and the arrows were too light and there was no twang and it was longbow quiet! Highly efficient and a vanity bow all wrapped in one!

I have been close to pulling the trigger on a second Cari-bow several times...the problem is I am not sure what I could get that would do a better job than my current Tuktu EX...glad to hear Abe is willing to make a Taiga again...in the meantime pick up one of his Elk in the Mist hoodies...they are truly something special

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
