Ohio Public Land Whitetails?
«
on:

A couple of my buddies and I have decided we might be interested in going to Ohio public land for a bit next year.
Anyone have any info they wouldn't mind sharing?
Not looking for any top secret locales...just looking fir some general guidance.
Of course, feel free to PM me.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I lived in Ohio off and on for 41 years and I always liked "Shade River State Forest" in Meigs Co. It's right on the Ohio River with plenty of deer and some nice Bucks running around. During Bow season there was very little pressure when I hunted it. You can rent cabins or camp at the nearby "Forked Run State Park" which also has a shower house which is nice. But I'm sure others have their favorites also.
