Haven't Seen a deer in 2 weeks. the spot I have been hunting was full of does and buck sign...Last 2 weeks no does and the scrapes -n- rubs are looking old....Thinking may have to try another area....

I know the feeling. It's been pretty tough here, too. Tomorrow, however, is another day, and hope springs eternal.

I haven't been seeing much here, although some are.  Some really big bucks have been killed in Wisconsin this year.

Warm weather kills their activity. We are slow here too. Warm weather plus the gun hunters are out getting ready for Sunday. Firearms opener. I saw two does tonight in my north corner coming home from work. Near the spring in the shade. We are supposed to coll off by the weekend. You guys too. Good Luck

I just got back from a week in Southeastern Ohio.  Look in the bottoms, we never saw a deer on tops due to the lack of Acorns, but the bottoms seemed to be holding the deer.

I have been in the same situation, it's been a tough and unusual fall here in southern Ohio. Keep hunting it wil get better and I think the warm weather set the rut back they have really started to move the last day or so.
     Good luck and hunt on.

I hunted all last weekend without a single siting. Took of work a little early today to get in the woods...nothing! Gonna try it again tomorrow, then I'm gonna give it to the gun hunters for a couple weeks. I know we should all stick together, but I hate gun season! Good luck fellas

I know there has to be a gun season. I wish they would put the crossbow guys in with them. But the worst thing for me about gun season is, I can't take my Brittanies to the woods. The best time of year. No leaves, no snow. They hate gun season too.

Good Luck,  These deer will drive you nuts and keep you second guessing.

In your situation, was the wood lot pressured a lot?  they could have moved off and it wouldn't hurt to have another place to go to.

But.... If there is still good sign, I would be patient, one day there will be no activity, then one day it will be like someone flipped a switch.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

I'm not getting frustrated. I'm there. Everyone else in my club is seeing bucks but not moi. A day late, every day. Have to tell myself to calm down. It's only a deer. Yeah, right. Hope springs eternal, as Centaur says.

I have the same situation in my hunting area, but I'm hoping it is just the warm weather.  Now that it's cooling down, I'm anxious to get back at it this weekend.

Went out this morn and got interrupted by some rabbit hunters. First time I've seen anyone else hunting this area. I think I'm gonna have to try my 2nd spot now that rabbit season is in..worst I can do is not see anything.

From what I have noticed in my home state ( Michigan ) deer are moving in open fields in the late mornings . Of coarse I see them while I travel between jobs . I always carry bino's

I have only hunted once this year
Just a bad year
Summer went by too fast
Un-prepared
,arrow flight issues, factory defect broadheads.

Not just ready in time
First year in 17 I havent hunted opening week

Im planning now for fall 2016
