Lighted nocks for AD shafts...?
« on: November 11, 2015, 08:09:00 PM »
G'day guys,

I've been thinking of trying out some lighted nocks. Has anyone tried them in Arrow Dynamics carbons?

Hi Al,

The only lighted nocks I could find for my AD shafts is the nockturnals. But I have the Easton uni bushings in mine, you would have to check if they make them for the shafts if you do no use the uni bushings.

As with Danny the only ones I found to work were the nockturnal in size G with the uni-bushing.  The fit was still very tight and some of them I couldn't get to fully seat.  Sanding them down helped. Broke one of them trying to push it in and finally gave up.

I made some with the help of a YT video that uses two nocks and a thill bobber light. The boober lights are $3.50 and are push on pull off. Cut one of the nocks end off and glue that to the bottom of the light then cut the end of the other one leaving enough for the end of the light to fit in and glue it in that end also. Slide it into the arrow and pull slightly. It should get turned on when you shoot.
