Way to go Jer and excellent advice. Assume nothing unless you can actually see the animal from your stand site. Blood doesn't lie. Congrats. Winter bow again with the guys?   :clapper:

Had the same thing happen to me.... literally.   I had two walk back to my stand and start over.  She was only 60 to 80 yards total from my tree, but in the thick brush I couldn't find her.   I had to "follow the blood" even though i more or less saw her down.   :)

Nice Jerry! Got one today and followed your advice! I looked at what I thought was a trail and nothing! Then I said Jerry said follow the blood and there she was. Follow the blood!
