tuning dilema
« on: November 23, 2015, 02:33:00 PM »
Today I shot bareshaft arrows of 2 different spines and got 1 hitting straight and 1 severly nock left. They hit the target in the same place.
I tried paper tuning the same spines with feathers and got perfect bullet holes.
So, I have conflicting results from 2 tuning methods and am unsure how to react. Any suggestions ???

If I'm reading your post correctly, your results were not conflicting.  Bare shaft indicated one of the shafts was too weakly spined.  Paper tuning didn't indicate a preference for one or the other.  So pick the stiffer spine.
