Tell me about your Toelke Lynx 60" recurve

Thinking about getting one. How are they for quietness, smoothness, speed etc? How long of a draw will they handle without stack? Thanks, Bob

Was one for sale used over on the other site.  Smoothest drawing bow I've ever shot and I've had to been through close to a 100 different bows now.  Nothing I don't like about mine.

Bob, Dan sent me a lynx combo to shoot at some 3d shoots when he first introduced the bow. I am definitely a "longbow guy" but when I sent it back to Dan it dawned on me that I had hardly shot the longbow limbs. The lynx recurve is excellent by any measure, there is nothing not to like.

How long is your draw length Bob? I have a 58" Lynx and draw to a solid 28" and it is one bow that I have no intention of ever parting with. I've learned to never say never, but it is one sweet shooting bow! Quiet, plenty quick, and smooth!

I draw past 31" and bow is still comfortable and stack past 32" I put an SBD bowstring 10 strand on the bow with wool wrap and wool silencer, set the bow at 7 1/2" brace height, and found it quiet.
Regarding to bow speed on a hooter shooter the speed of mine is 182 fps at 28" for 10 gpp for a 48#@28" bow in ready to hunt set up. On the graph you choose the arrow weight in gpp down and read the corresponding speed on left in fps on the blue line.
Bow window is cut to center so need weaker arrow spine than recurve cut far past center. ( for me I drop from my usual  .300 spine  to .340 with same 300 gr + insert point weight)
A super fine bow I use as a go to bow for tree stand hunting, tiny blind and mountain bowhunting

That bow is a killer
