For those who can maintain a consistent angle with files and other type sharpening tools, it may be less impressive, but to those of us who are thus handicapped, it's truly a revelation!!!
It still took me a while to figure out I can't quit the first coarsest stone until I have a wire raised on the opposing side of whatever I'm sharpening.
The original stones weren't quite aggressive enough to cut into t he harder heads like Tusker and Grizzly, to reshape the bevel without considerable work...
Then Ron found better stone makers...
That seems to be by last report, an ongoing problem, finding good stone makers anymore... Shame how this once great nation is experiencing a loss of good artisans in producing American made goods! KME is an exception for sure
