Looks like I'm too late to give any input.  I got a new bow this past spring and had the same predicament.  Not a Whip, but it's an R/D with the exact specs you are ordering.  I ended up just telling the bowyer to just surprise me.  He knocked it outa the park with a Jatoba riser, bamboo limb cores, curly walnut veneers, and walnut/bamboo riser accents.
