Was wondering if Lee Hoots is still making bows? I tried his website and it's no longer available. I follow his Facebook page and there is no new postings or info.

Last I heard he was not making bows anymore. I have one of his recurves and it is a nice shooting bow, although I don't shoot it as much as I should.

I dont think so. He was a craftsman and I loved those little bows. Just guessing a Screw Lil favorite or a Javaman bow would be the closest thing to one.

Was really looking forward to purchasing one. Trying to find a used one is difficult.

I have Lee's cell number and we harass each other every few months and I can check for you if you like?
I'll send him one today just to see if he is still making any but I think he has gotten busy in construction and his chicken house's.
I'll throw a couple rocks in his yard to see if he will answer me lol..
heres mine.

I'm still around, I don't do but just a handful of bows a year now, just not enough time to do everything I want to, just check in ever so often it's possible I'll have one available, thanks!

The HootOwl has Spoken or should I say "Hooted" and may be a while before he is ever spotted again ..I didn't think he gave it up completely which is a good thing. He makes a really nice recurve.
